HIGH JUMP
Hanley advanced to the state meet in Clovis by placing fifth in the CIF-SS Division 2 Championships (6-4) and eighth in the Masters Meet (6-5). That mark tied him for the lead in the county this season. Hanley also tied for second in the pole vault at the Ventura County Championships with a mark of 14-0. His best pole vault was 14-9. The versatile, 6-4, 200-pound senior was the county's fifth best shot putter at 49-0.
